Apple acts as a separate provider of storage and transport; Apple’s privacy terms apply. We do not access content in your personal iCloud unless you explicitly share it with us (for example, when you send diagnostic exports to support).
4. How We Use Information
We use information for purposes including (and we may or may not use particular categories depending on features you use):
-
- Provide the Services: core functionality, sync, backups, customer support, account management.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by U.S. privacy laws (e.g., CPRA) at this time.
If this ever changes, we will (1) update this Policy, (2) provide prominent notice, and (3) honor any required opt-out, opt-in, or consent rights before engaging in such activity.
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
-
- To service providers/contractors who process data for us under binding agreements (hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, email delivery).
-
- To professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) under confidentiality.
-
- For legal reasons (to comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security).
-
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred, subject to this Policy or a successor policy with equivalent protections.
We do not send or sell your data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. If we ever choose to do so in the future, we will provide required notice and choice first.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Where feasible, we de-identify or aggregate data when full retention is not required.

11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your device and iCloud account.
12. International Transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
13. Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and (where permitted) marketing. You can manage cookies through browser settings and applicable banners/preferences.
Do Not Track: We do not respond to DNT signals. We honor legally required opt-outs where applicable.
